Design a Canva Carousel Cover Seamlessly!

Carousels are everywhere
And they are one of my favorite forms of content to create. But do you know how to get the image to show up on both the 1 & 2nd page??? Check it out!

Make sure your rulers are turn on.
This is easiest with Canva Pro, but I’ll show you how to do this without it tomorrow.. Find the image you want to use, and hit Edit image, then hit the little beach ball icon for BG remover. That will take out the background. You can still resize your image, or even add a glow or shadow. Get you image where you want it running off the page.

Add guides where the image runs off the page. Now copy and paste on the 2nd page. It will appear on the right side of the page. Click & hold the shift key so you don’t nudge the image up or down, and drag to the left side edge.

Zoom in to make sure the spots on the image that ran off the page line up.

I like to check the pages icon at the bottom to get a rough idea of whether or not Im lined up, but the “nailed it” test is downloading the pages 1&2 and starting a test Post.

Add those 2 pages to your new, and get to the caption screen, slide back and forth. That seam should be invisible to the eye!

Pro tip- using the same color on the second page (for at least half to 2/3rds makes your transition even more effortless!

Good job! This gets easier with practice, but zooming in for perfect guides, and using the shift key to lock the Image in place as you slide do most of the work for you!!
