About me
Hi, I’m Heather. I have tried quite a few different businesses over the last 20 or so years, but all revolved in some way around are something artistic with my trusty computer. I graduated with my BFA degree in Graphic Design & Illustration what seems like yesterday but was really in 2000. With my oldest now in college herself, I went through an identity crisis. What do I want to do when my kids all leave home?? I have 2 more at home, but they keep getting older. So who did I want to be when I grew up? That question sat with me, and spurred me to reevaluate my goals and where I wanted to be professionally.
Freelance work in different areas had satisfied me over the years as a Work From Home Mom/Stay at Home Mom. I put my skills to work in my community in publicity, social media management, and design. But I kept asking what comes next? I struggled with my purpose for the future, and knowing I wanted to be able to add value to the world.
I actually stumbled into my mentorship program by, you guessed it, an ad. Once I actually sat down and started consuming the information, the program touched me and I realized that while I enjoyed my current job, it was not what I ultimately wanted to do with the rest of my life. After hours of classes and study in my mentorship program, finally being able to implement what I have learned is so satisfying.
Helping my clients reach their goals is deeply fulfilling. Not everyone can do what we do, but for me this is fun, and I like the capacity to change the lives of other people I work with. I choose to target coaches, and consultants because they are focused on helping people add value to their lives and the world. I found immense growth working with my life and mindset coaches for the last 2 years. That personal development laid the groundwork for me to jump off a cliff into this program and not second guess myself. I was fully confident in my ability to rock the new learning challenges and kick butt in my new career path.
